Listen up all you Skype users!  SkypeOut is now FREE!  (Within the U.S. and Canada)

That’s right, Skype has announced that from now until at least the end of 2006, all SkypeOut calls to land lines and mobile phones in the U.S. and Canada will be free. This is good news for those of you whose Skype client sits idle because your friends don’t use Skype.

I wonder what this will do to the other VoIP providers like Vonage, or Packet8?
